Jeff Masuda

Jeff Masuda (PhD) is a Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Policy at the University of Victoria and Director of the Centre for Environmental Health Equity. Trained as a health geographer, his research draws on critical theory and employs a community based participatory research approach, using mixed methods to investigate the systemic roots of social and environmental injustice. His research is focused on environmental health promotion, citizen engagement in regional environmental governance, risk communication, equity focused knowledge translation, and urban human rights and environmental injustice.
