Eric Crighton (1968-2024)

The PEHE Collaboration is the result of the visionary leadership of Eric Crighton (PhD), who was a Full Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics at the University of Ottawa, Co-Director of the Environment, Community and Health (ECoH) Lab, and Senior Scientist at the Institute of Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES). The work of the PEHE Collaboration continues in his memory.

Karen Phillips (PhD) is an Associate Professor, Director of the School of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa. Dr. Phillips obtained her doctorate in physiology, specializing in oocyte maturation, molecular events at fertilization and early embryo development.
