Marg Sanborn
Marg Sanborn (MD CCFP FCFP) is a rural family physician with a special interest in environmental health. She is a past member and past Chair of the International Joint Commission’s Health Professionals Advisory Board on Human Health and Environment, and a past member and past Chair of the OCFP’s Environmental Health Committee. She is currently a member of the PHAC advisory committee on health professionals’ education on Zoonoses and Climate Change, and the Centre for Effective Practice Lyme toolkit working group. Research and publication interests include needs assessment for environmental health education of family physicians, application of current evidence in environmental health to clinical family practice and development of environmental health curriculum for family doctors.
